Editorial Reviews

"Jeff Taylor, the younger brother of Riggs, is one of the main characters featured in this sequel to Whatever Tomorrow Brings.  The book opens with the news that Bobbie Bradford is returning to Santa Rosa and will be working for Jeff's father in the shipping office.  The story then flashes back five years to an incident between Jeff and Bobbie, then an undeveloped, not very attractive 14-year-old Bobbie discovers that Jeff has asked her to a church picnic outing only because he lost when straws were drawn.  Humiliated, she goes to stay with her aunt and uncle and the stay stretches to five years.  It's a different Bobbie who returns home.  Still small and wearing glasses, she has matured into a lovely lady who is a delight to be around.  Jeff has been dating the lovely Sylvia for some time and Bobbie is engaged to a man she met while living with her aunt and uncle, but she's not sure of her feelings. A home story that includes many of the people in book one and has a good Christian message."
