Excerpted from One-Minute with God by Hope Lyda
Have you reached your “what now” point? It’s pretty easy to recognize; in fact, you may have been here before. It happens when your cleverness and education and Internet search savvy stop being enough to get by. You’ve tapped all your resources to solve a problem, create a different outcome, or make a change.
“What now” can be a very fruitful time of awakening. Use it to embrace your limits rather than resist them, and turn to God’s strength for whatever is next.
Okay, God, I am here. I’ve tried everything, and I know I can’t fix my life or even my current situation. I should’ve learned this lesson years ago, but I resisted it. I want to trust in your strength. I want to face whatever is next and know that you’re in control.
