Breaking the Islam Code This insightful, reader-friendly book transcends traditional apologetics. It helps Christians understand what is deep in Muslims’ hearts, behind their theology—which will lead to friendship and effective communication; respectfully turn many of the primary objections into opportunities to share the faith; and avoid unnecessarily offending Muslims they’re interacting with.

Wicca is America’s fastest growing religion. By the year 2012, it’s projected to be the third largest religion in the United States.

In Generation Hex, Marla Alupoaicei and Dillon Burroughs explore the history, culture, and practices of Wicca. As part of their research, they interviewed travelers to historic Salem, Massachusetts, consulted practitioners of leading neopagan conferences in the Pacific Northwest and Canada, and dialogued with several current and former adherents of Wicca and other forms of witchcraft to evaluate the past and present of this growing spiritual tradition.

The result is a compelling account that will inform and equip Christians (especially parents) to understand Wiccan and New Age teachings. Readers will have confidence to explain this belief system to others and to communicate the gospel to those caught up in this practice.

Generation Hex identifies with the spiritual hunger of a generation seeking truth, authenticity, and hope in a fragmented world. It’s perfect for personal study or as a gift for anyone interested or involved in Wicca.

“As a former witch, I always appreciate it when a book of this nature comes out that is both factually based, and non–hysterical in style. Generation Hex fits the bill quite refreshingly on both counts. I have to admit that I was somewhat skeptical when I saw the credentials of the authors involved, as many Christians who have tried to write such a work have fallen far short of the mark, and these two went to Seminary!

“I stand humbly amazed by their transparency about having to relearn who Wiccans are, rather than run with pre–conceived notions that are prevalent in the church as a whole. Generation Hex has many good points to its credit, not the least of which are their quotes from some of the Wiccans that were interviewed during the research phase. I have also found that Generation Hex deals fairly with both the common beliefs of Wicca and with the cultural backdrop that helps influence our young people to make the choices necessary for walking a magick path. An especially nice touch was including a chapter written by a former witch. In short, I highly recommend Generation Hex as informative and well written.”
Mark Bishop, Coracle Ministries

Generation Hex offers well–researched insight into the dangerous world of Wicca, and I trust it will help equip Christians to communicate the gospel to this generation.”
Mark L. Bailey, PhD, president, Dallas Theological Seminary

Generation Hex was helpful, informative, and generally encouraging that as Christians we can engage Wiccans in thoughtful dialogue and discussion about the truths of their belief system. This book will hopefully shed light on the issue for many young people, youth pastors, and parents to identify those people in their midst who secretly practice magick and are seeking something grand and majestic, but are settling for something which will not and cannot fill that void in their lives.”
Daniel E. Panetti, worldview director, Prestonwood Christian Academy

Editorial Reviews

“Armchair Interviews says: Generation Hex is a book worth reading for everyone in order to understand a growing religion that is attracting young people and the subtle dangers of Wicca.”
ArmChairInterviews.com

“I highly recommend Generation Hex. Christians need to be informed about what Wicca is and how they can approach the issue if it ever presents itself. With the prevalence of the religion in our society, it is very likely that most of us know someone who is dabbling in or immersed in this dark world. We need the ability to shine the truth of Christ while also conveying his love. Generation Hex is a great display of how to go about doing that.”
TheChristianManifesto.wordpress.com

Generation Hex has opened my eyes to the number of individuals that have chosen Wicca as their religion. I had no idea the number of youth that are exposed to and practicing Wicca. I know I am not alone in this. Thus, I am delighted that this book was written, so that more of us do become aware...This is a great tool for parents, but also for anyone that wants to learn more about Wicca, in order to better share the gospel with others.”

Generation Hex is a wake-up call for the reader to reexamine their faith in light of the relational experiences our youth are looking for today. Dillon and Marla both encourage the Christian to love and relate to individuals of other cultures and religions in a non-judgemental, compassionate way.”
