ISBN-10/ISBN-13

The book industry is officially changing over to the ISBN-13 with the ISBN-10 becoming obsolete effective January 2007. In our efforts to follow industry–recommended guidelines as well as assist our trade partners during this change, Harvest House Publishers will be using the following transition schedule:

  • Both the ISBN–13 and the ISBN–10 will appear on all new products, catalogs, order forms, and our website through our Fall 2007 list.
  • New products releasing on the Winter 2008 list and future lists will have the ISBN–13 only.
  • Starting with Winter 2008, catalogs and order forms will have the ISBN–13 only (both on new and backlist titles).
  • As of January 1, 2008, our website will have the ISBN–13 only (both on new and backlist titles).
  • The ISBN–13 will replace the ISBN–10 on the back covers of all backlist titles reprinted to arrive January 2007 or later.
