Victory Will Come

Lord, I don’t want to just endure this trouble. I long to have victory as a result of it.

In the midst of this time of testing, I pray You will be glorified.

In You alone victory is found.

Reveal in and through me a greater hope and peace that conquers all.

Help me stand firm and trust You, especially when I have no clue as to what You are doing.

When doubt and fear creep in on my faith, strengthen my walk and give me wisdom.

I run to You with the unfulfilled longings of my heart and cravings of my soul.

Though I am unworthy, You take me as I am and love me.

You will fight for me against the darkness of this world.

You will shoulder the burdens trying to pull me into the grave.

The radiance of Your truth will guide me and I will not be moved.

I will stand firm.

I will be victorious.

Not because I am strong, but because in my weakness, Jesus, You are strong.

Victory rests in You alone.

My confidence is in You.

The longing for You to be extraordinary in the midst of this trial consumes me.

Make Yourself known, Jesus.

Rescue me from the depths of my brokenness and show Yourself mighty.

So that all will see and know that You are God.

Victory in You is certain.

Thank You, Lord.

Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
