A Word from the Author

"I love being a mother!  It is the most important job a woman will ever have, but unfortunately it comes with no instructions. In my book, 365 Things Every New Mom Should Know I share practical tips and creative ideas on a daily basis to nurture every area of a baby's development. Weekly devotions speak directly to a mother's heart, warmly addressing all the joys and frustrations a new mother faces.  They offer wisdom, insight, and encouragement. My prayer is that this book will help guide mothers through that exciting, yet often overwhelming, first year while laying a loving foundation that will last a lifetime!"

Editorial Reviews

"Danis, mother of 4, knows about having a new baby. A new Mom experiences a variety of mixed feelings she never knew before giving birth. Throughout this book beginning with day 1 for 365 days in brief advice, activities, songs, or games can be found for new Mom and baby.

Some advice includes having a 'nursing station.' Encourage the father to help take care of the baby from the beginning. He may do things differently than you, but that's okay. Mom shouldn't forget to take care of her own body's needs. Talking to the Lord is encouraged and asking for wisdom. Prayer is given for new Moms to repeat to the Lord.

At 2 months the new Mom can begin playing 'Pat-a-cake' (the words are supplied). At day 87 new Mom can begin teaching a motorboat song and with Mom's help baby will learn how to pedal his feet. Remember activities help baby grow physically and mentally."
