God, Girls, and Getting Connected

Spiritual Apps for a Teen’s Life

Miss America 2007, Lauren Nelson, and award-winning TV news anchor Robin Marsh share a passion to encourage teen girls. In this relevant, engaging devotional they show the cell phone generation of girls why accepting God’s call is the best decision they’ll ever make.

Each devotion includes a question in teen lingo, God’s “text response” from Scripture, insightful reflections, and a daily spiritual app to help girls relate biblical wisdom to everyday needs as they explore:

  • how to deal with the drama of other girls
  • decisions about boys and sexual purity
  • do’s and don’ts of social media
  • the fun of living out a bold faith
  • their identity and uniqueness in Christ

A cleverly presented, timely look at God’s help for the needs young women face today. Perfect for individual faith growth and as group discussion and study material.

A Word from the Author

God, Girls, and Getting Connected is a devotional born out of the desire to show girls their true identity in Christ. Girls are buying into the world’s message that your self-worth comes from what you have, what you do, and more importantly what you look like. We are sharing the truth of God’s Word with the cell phone generation so teen girls can become secure in Christ.

“God has written His text messages in the Bible. All He is waiting for is your reply. We want to help teen girls recognize God’s ringtone. No subject is off limits. We talk about drama from other girls, decisions about sexual purity, the do’s and don’ts of social media. It’s the good news that will not only help for the day…but a lifetime.

“Our prayer is to connect teenage girls spiritually and socially in all areas of their life so they will become confident women of God.”
Robin Marsh and Lauren Nelson, authors of God, Girls, and Getting Connected
