Truth

Lots of beautiful things that are true were explained in this book. Many verses were detailed, enjoyed it a lot. An excellent book, would recommend it to anyone. We all need a servant and obedient heart. It is so wonderfully expressed throughout this book. Motivational book, enjoyed it. Highly recommend it.

I found this book to be a really meaningful set of devotionals. In this devotional, the reader is reminded of God’s infinite love for each and every living thing; big or small, rich or poor. Truth took me away from my daily struggles and reminded me to fully rely on God. It gave me inner peace from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and gave my soul a sense of serenity. Some of the passages that stood out the most to me in my daily readings are as follows:

‘Salvation is a gift: we contribute absolutely nothing. When Jesus called Lazarus from the tomb, he did the work, not Lazarus. Salvation depends on Gods mercy and his faithfulness to his promise.’

‘Faith saves us…I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, no one will snatch them out of my hand.’

‘Dear friends, let us love one another for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.’

I believe this book would make a perfect gift for someone that would like to deepen their walk with the Lord and I am thankful I was able to read this myself. I look forward to reading more from this publisher and author, Randy Alcorn.

A must read for any and all Christians. This is the kind of book you hand down from generation to generation.
