A member of the church community group I attend wanted the guys of the group to go through this book.

I was a bit skeptical of the book at first because I love the book of Revelation. We are all really enjoying going through revelation. What solidified his book outline for me was how Skip points out the transitions of age and vantage points that are crucial for getting and understanding of the sequence of events and their overlap.

Also select readings are great for seeing the continuity of the events in the book Revelation with the rest of scripture. This makes it a very fun group activity, full of aha moments as well as “what happens again?” reiterations. Reading this book alongside Revelation has kept us on track, after the occasional speculative detour.

I think the book does a good job living up to its title. If you’re not that interested in the book Revelation it’s not a requirement to enjoy this book. Our group has proved it to be an enjoyable way to fellowship around God’s word, and our future hope.

This is a great book. I don’t really like to read much, but I could hardly put it down. I have read the Book of Revelations & I did not understand a lot of it but this book really was so much help to understanding it’s meaning. And it has helped me be a better Christian. And I have been able to witness to others about Jesus. But all the glory goes to God. I have shared this book with my pastor as she is preaching on the book of Revelations. I would like to order some to give to my friends & those who don’t know Jesus.
